The DGI Sports and Culture Festival in Svendborg

Every four years, 25-30,000 thousand active Danes flock to DGI's Sports and Culture Festival - a big national multisport event. The Danish Gymnastics and Sports Associations (DGI) is a national organisation comprising more than 6,400 member sports clubs with more than 1.6 million members. In 2022, the city of Svendborg will host the event that focuses on the joy and the social experience of sport.

Experience the event in a maritime atmosphere in the middle of the South Funen Archipelago enjoying the diverse cultural life that bubbles in the cosy streets of Svendborg.

As a participant at Play the Game 2022 you are invited to visit Svendborg and enjoy the event, its exhibitions, open activities, and festive atmosphere. Furthermore DGI and Play the Game offers a day pass valid on Friday 1 July - it covers an evening meal and entrance ticket to a spectacular show at the main arena where over 5,000 young people will perform.
