By Play the GameThe second and conclusive part of the WADA commissioned Independent McLaren Investigation on doping in sport was released today at a press conference at the St-Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London.
The Canadian lawyer Richard McLaren was appointed by WADA on 18 May 2016 to conduct an investigation into allegations raised about corrupt doping practices during the Sochi Olympics.
Part one of the investigation was released on 18 July and prompted the world athletics body, the IAAF, to suspend Russian track and field athletes from the 2016 Rio Olympics.
