UNESCO Convention: Words Without Actions?

On 19 October 2005, the 33rd session of the UNESCO General Conference unanimously adopted the International Convention against Doping in Sport. This signified the birth of the first truly global anti-doping Convention.

This was a tremendous achievement, made all the more special given that it occurred during the International Year of Sport and Physical Education.
