    Play the Game called for a broad appraoch on good governance in sport speaking at the Council of Europe’s Sports Ministers meeting in Magglingen, Switzerland today. The meeting will conclude by the signing of a convention on the manipulation of sports competitions.

    International director at Play the Game, Jens Sejer Andersen was invited to give a speech when European ministers were gathered in Magglingen, Switzerland to discuss corruption in sport and to sign a convention against match-fixing. In his speech, Andersen stressed the need to address corruption in sports organisations and listed five proposals for the European ministers to take on. This became evident at Play the Game’s seminar on sports management in Brussels on 8 April. The question is how quickly and efficiently sport is able to respond.
