Experience Play the Game at EASM 2012

By Play the GameA number of the themes that are typically addressed by Play the Game’s international network will enjoy a special focus at the sport management conference EASM 2012 in a separate line of Play the Game symposia.
As co-organisers of EASM 2012, Play the Game and the Danish Institute for Sports Studies have put together a special programme with a series of symposia focusing on the greatest challenges for world sports, along with a long line of distinguished keynote speakers from the world of international sport.
Play the Game’s symposia will work as parallel sessions and the nearly 500 delegates at EASM 2012 can choose freely between the programme’s 250 scientific presentations and the different Play the Game symposia.
Among the topics that will be addressed in the symposia are: the need for better governance in sports organisations, the road to greater participation in sport, the evolution of sports journalism, the exploitation and trade of poor, young sports talents, and the battle to host sport’s mega-events.
