The dual role of Jack Warner as Trinidad and Tobago's Minister of Works and Transport and as vice-president of FIFA is going to be assessed by a panel of legal experts to ensure that there is no conflict.
Trinidad and Tobago's Attorney General Anand Ramlogan has said that the panel will consist English barrister Michael Beloff, Trinidad and Tobago's former attorney general Russell Martineau SC, and Guyana's former Attorney General Sir Fenton Ramsahoye QC.
Warner became part of the cabinet when a coalition of opposition parties formed the People's Partnership under the United National Congress chief Kamla Persad-Bissessar and won the General Elections in May 2010.
