By Play the GameThe 10 meters high steel construction holding the flame is placed at the centre of a square and has been surrounded by a fence making it difficult for the public to see the Olympic flame.
According to the Canadian Press, the local organisers of the Games, VANOC, have been working on a solution to make the cauldron more accessible. Early Wednesday morning construction workers were reported to be narrowing in the scope of the fence, allowing the public to get a better glance at the burning symbol of the Games.
