Play the Game creates space for open dialogue and debate

By Eva Marie Andersen
Play the Game is launching a weblog in the beginning of September to establish an open forum for debate and dialogue in today’s international world of sport. You are invited to participate.

The focus of the weblog will be issues such as transparency and democracy in sport governance, health, anti-doping, development and all aspects of contemporary sports journalism.

At Play the Game, we consider an open discussion forum of vital importance in today’s sports political arena.

The blog will be an extension of our existing sports political news service at: www.playthegame.org and it will be an integrated part of the website.

The weblog will be an open space where you can express yourself in relation to sport and sports politics as the media at present time do not offer many such possibilities.

The blog will be highly internationally oriented and provide an excellent opportunity for dialogue and networking with professionals in the field of sport from all over the world.

Play the Game therefore has the pleasure of inviting you to become active participants on the blog. We hope you will consider sharing your knowledge and views with the rest of the international sporting community.

Do you have a subject you would like to debate with others?
The weblog will contain a space where selected or invited authors will start debates. Send your text to Play the Game to get it published on the new weblog.

Send your text to eva@playthegame.org or kirsten@playthegame.org

Our readers will have the opportunity to debate and comment on your post.

Play the Game reserves the right to edit or not to publish unsuitable texts in order to ensure a fruitful and safe environment for dialogue.
