Keep in touch with Play the Game via RSS

20.09.2006

Play the Game wants to make it easier for our users to be updated on new stories on our site. We now offer you the opportunity to subscribe to RSS feeds from our news service, our Knowledge Bank and our new forum Play the Game take part.

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". It is a technology that uses a special programme to inform you whenever changes are made to a website.

By signing up for RSS, you will be notified automatically whenever new contents appear on www.playthegame.org

In order to use RSS you need a so-called RSS aggregator. Many aggregators are available for free on the Internet and you can find a list here

If you already have a news aggregator you can sign up on this page (link disabled). First you copy the URL for the feed you want, then you paste the link into your news aggregator.

Newsletter service continues
In the future Play the Game plans to publish news more often and we will not be able to send out newsletters to all our subscribers every time.

But the newsletter service will continue for those of our users who prefer to stay informed that way. The newsletter will be published every second week with round-ups of news and important developments from Play the Game take part.

You can sign up for our free newsletter here. Please also remember to add mails from playthegame.org to your mailbrowser's safe list. Spamfilters are becoming increasingly tight and many mails are returned to us because the filters suspect it of being spam.
