Experienced Norwegian sports official joins Play the Game staff

Hans B. Skaset has an experience in international sports politics like few other Nordic sports leaders and has earned a reputation as a staunch fighter against doping and other unethical practices in sport.
Among his many functions over the years, the 71-year old Skaset has been president of the Norwegian Athletics Federation and the Norwegian Olympic Committee and Confederation of Sports as well as head of sports at the Norwegian Ministry of Culture. Internationally he was a driving force in founding the intergovernmental anti-doping alliance IADA, and he has served on a number of committees in IAAF and the European Athletic Association (EAA) of which he is a honorary member.
The primary tasks of Hans B. Skaset at Play the Game will be to take part in the construction of a database of experts on sport, to strengthen the existing Knowledge Bank and to trace contributions for the open debate forum Play the Game take part.
