DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Colorado Springs will be the venue for the 11th Play the Game conference in October 2019.

While shaping the content of the Play the Game 2019 programme is still in a very early phase, Play the Game has now finalised the negotiations with the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Colorado Springs as the official hotel and venue for the conference taking place from 13-16 October next year.

Conveniently located near the city center of Colorado Springs and a 90-minutes’ drive from Denver International Airport, the DoubleTree by Hilton Colorado Springs is a perfect venue to host Play the Game 2019. The beautiful mountains surrounding the city can be admired from the hotel premises and the hotel is within walking distance of various points of interest in the city, such as recreational areas, the Broadmoor World Arena, restaurants and shopping centers. The hotel also has an on-site restaurant.

Colorado Springs is a preferred starting point for a wide range of outdoor activities and boasts excellent opportunities for hiking, climbing, biking, and more, which the hotel can help arrange.

Participants at Play the Game 2019 will benefit from the many amenities at the hotel, including advanced meeting facilities that will secure a great conference experience. The hotel features 299 spacious rooms, many of which are pre-booked for the conference participants and will be available at a special rate when the conference registration opens.

The rate for a single occupancy room is set to 158 USD per night, and a double occupancy room will cost 170 USD. Both rates include breakfast and taxes. Information on booking procedures and the conference fee will be announced shortly.

In the area, there are alternative hotels in other categories within walking distance.

Play the Game is currently in the process of gathering the programme committee of the 2019 edition of the conference and is looking forward to embark on the important task of defining main themes for the conference.

A call for abstracts is expected to be released in the beginning of 2019.
