Important Whereabouts Information System win for the International Cycling Union (UCI)

The protection of professional cyclist's privacy rights has suffered another blow with the rejection of the appeal by Carlos Roman Golbano by a provincial court in Almería, Spain.

Golbano had challenged the legitimacy of the Whereabouts Information System. The UCI says the ruling will help the fight against doping.
