Conference venue
The venue of Play the Game 2013 wasthe Helnan Marselis Hotel, located in beautiful surroundings overlooking miles of elegant Danish coastline and the Marselisborg forests in Aarhus.
The hotel has 168 rooms, most of them with an ocean view.
A thorough renovation has furthermore made the hotel a premier convention and meeting centre with 20 flexible meeting and conference rooms easily accommodating up to 550 persons.
At the conference venue, nature is just outside the doors. The Helnan Marselis hotel is located right on the beach where you can walk along the sand down to the Marselisborg Yacht Harbour. Behind the hotel, the forest provides beautiful paths for walking and mountain biking and in the Deer Park nearby you can visit deer and wild boar.

Conference dinner and farewell party
The forest is also home to the NRGi Park & Arena, where the conference dinner and farewell party on Thursday 31 October will take place. The NRGi Park, or Aarhus Stadium as it is also known, is home ground of the local football club AGF, and the dinner will enjoyed with a view over the stadium which seats 20.000 people.
The stadium is widely recognized as the most beautiful stadium in the country and served as the venue for the 2011 UEFA U/21 Championships final match. The NRGI Park & Arena is also widely used by both grassroots sports as well as a number of the leading sports clubs in Denmark in sports like football, handball, athletics, sports dance and more. The stadium is located close to the city centre and has the Marselisborg Palace, the Danish Royal family's summer residence, as its nearest neighbour.
