Spencer Harris

Spencer Harris is an Assistant Professor in the sport management programme at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, USA. He completed his PhD at Loughborough University, UK in 2013. He worked in community sports development for 16 years prior to academia including positions in local government, the national sport agency (Sport England) and with the international charity Right to Play. Spencer has been working in higher education since 2008. His teaching and research interests centre on sport governance, sport policy, community sport participation and volunteering in sport.
