Geoff Arbourne
Geoff Arbourne is an Emmy award-winning producer and founder of Inside Out Films.
Inside Out Films is an independent production company based in Devon and operates out of the U.K. and South Africa. Over the last nine years, the company has developed a broad slate of projects by filmmakers with provocative, hard-hitting and bold visions.
His debut feature documentary Forever Pure, played over 100 festivals, winning numerous awards, including an Emmy award. Forever Pure had its international premiere at Toronto Film Festival 2016 and became highly popular on the BBC, PBS and Netflix.
His second feature documentary, African Apocalypse, had its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival in 2020 and released on BBC Two in May 2021.
In 2019, Geoff was selected for the European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE) programme to develop a project with former British diplomat Carne Ross. A procedural series set within the little known, yet vivid, international world of one of the globes most significant institutions - the United Nations. Geoff is working with fellow producer Robyn Slovo (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, McMafia) on the project.
Geoff is also currently working as an Executive Producer on two feature documentaries in postproduction. The first, London Recruits, is directed by Gordon Main and aims for a release in the autumn of 2021. And Blindspot, directed by Ali Al-arian, aims for a release in early 2022.
