Hande is an attorney at law at Çaga & Çaga Law Firm in İstanbul, a boutique and centennial law firm, unique in its kind. Not only the firm offers services in a wide range of practice such as aviation, maritime, intellectual property, employment, sports, commercial, administrative and tax law; but it also supports scientific activities in the field of law through its foundation: Çağa Law Foundation. Alhough advising and representing clients on several matters, Hande's main working interest is sports law as over the years she also actively participated in various aspects of sports such as a player and volunteer. She volunteered in mega events like London Paralympics and FIBA Men's Basketball Championship.
Currently, she is a basketball referee affiliated with Turkish Basketball Federation and a member of EDER-a national association founded to advocate fair-play and to support the participation of disadvantaged children and women in sports. Besides her professional office work on sports law, Hande continues to research and write in sports law and participate to sports law conferences where she gives speeches. She is an active member of International Associaton of Sports Law (IASL) and was in charge of the organization of Çaga Law Foundation Sports Law Conference in June 2015 with IASL's collaboration.
