PhD in Practical Philosophy.

Research profile: Penal philosophy and Philosophy of Sports. At present, teacher and researcher in practical philosophy at the Gothenburg University, Sweden. He is a member of the IAPS (International Association for the Philosophy of Sport) and a contributor to its Newsletter. He has introduced Philosophy of Sports as an academic subject in Sweden. He teaches also Philosophy of Sports, Penal Philosophy and Utilitarianism at the Department of Philosophy, at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Tamburrini has published numerous international articles on penal philosophy and the philosophy of sports. Among his books, the following are worth mentioning:
