Profile Simon Chadwick has recently taken up the position of Professor of Sport Business Strategy at Coventry University Business School, where he is the leader of the Ambushing, Sponsorship and Sport Marketing Group. He is also the Co Director of the Birkbeck Sport Business Centre at the Birkbeck University. At Birkbeck he is the Programme Director for the MSc Sport Management and the Football Industry and manager of the MSc Strategic Marketing and the Football Industry and Sport Business Management and the Business of Football modules. His research interests are based around sport marketing, in particular the management of football shirt sponsorship programmes, advertising and marketing communication strategies in sport, relationship marketing in sport, sports branding, fan behaviour and segmentation, the use of the internet by sports clubs and the marketing of sports memorabilia to collectors. Amongst Simon's other responsibilities, he is Editor of the International Journal of Sports Marketing and Sponsorship, and is an Editorial Board member for Sport Marketing Europe, the International Journal of Sports Marketing and Management and many others. Simon has published extensively in the areas of sport marketing and sport management, and has worked with various organisations from across sport.
